The SEMO Football Officials Association  School Sportsmanship Award is persented to the school which best demonstrates all around good sportsmanship by players coaches and fans.  Nominees are submitted by each officiating crew and a final vote determines the winner.  

Criteria for any school being considered for this honor include:

o  An understanding and appreciation for the rules of the game.

o  Exercising sound, value based, behavior at all times.

o  Recognizing and appreciating the skills and performance of opponents

o  Exhibiting mutual respect for all participants, coaches and officials

o  Displaying openly, a respect for opponents at all times.

o  Taking pride in your school, your actions, and yourself.
